Every piece of custom wood furniture David Stine creates is one-of-a-kind. His designs maximize the raw, natural, singular beauty of the wood—graining, knots, live edges, and all.
David is the fourth generation to steward his family’s land, where he sustainably harvests and mills all his own lumber.
Design inspiration comes from the forest itself, by how and where the trees grew. As he mills the boards and the inner beauty of the wood is revealed, he often sees what he will build.
Each piece is handcrafted using traditional methods of joinery and construction, with details clients can see and feel. Only environmentally safe finishes are used.
David’s handcrafted furniture is offered to the trade, at select retail establishments, and to the general public.
